Joel Ward, former Capitals winger, retires from NHL

Former Washington Capitals right winger Joel Ward announced his retirement from the NHL in a Players' Tribune article Monday. Ward played 726 games across 11 seasons in the NHL, including four with the Capitals.

PBR bulls, riders open gate on return of sports

The Professional Bull Riders tour held an event in an empty arena in Oklahoma, in what appears to be the first professional sport to resume in the U.S. after the COVID-19 pandemic forced leagues to suspend play.

Professional Bull Riders resume competition in empty Oklahoma arena

The Professional Bull Riders tour returned from a five-week hiatus this weekend, holding an event in an empty arena in Oklahoma in what appears to be the first professional sport to resume in the U.S. after the coronavirus pandemic forced leagues to suspend play.
