Washington Wizards end season with same bitter taste

The dry-erase board in the locker room which supplies scribbled out information of what's next had the schedule for Monday. No more practice or flight times. Only a gathering of belongings, meetings with coach Randy Wittman and a group talk.

John Wall, Wizards prepare for Game 6

Wizards coach Randy Wittman said John Wall is a "game-time" decision. It's fair to take that as meaning when Game 6 starts Friday night, it will have been long decided that Wall will participate in the game.

John Wall unsure if he will play in Game 5

Wednesday's wrap was black and wound up John Wall's left wrist. That didn't keep him from dribbling for the second consecutive day or working on his conditioning during the Wizards' morning shootaround.

John Wall still unsure if he wil play in Game 3 or beyond

Wall was in a decent mood Friday afternoon. His injured left hand played with the strings of his sweatpants while he answered questions about it. The only conclusion Friday was that Wall and the Wizards don't know if he will play in Game 3.

John Wall remains day to day for Wizards

Without the Eastern Conference's starting point guard in the All-Star Game, the Wizards lost for the first time this postseason. They are not sure when Wall will return.

John Wall, Bradley Beal still sore but expect to play

There were scares Sunday in addition to the joy. Wall and Beal both ended up on the floor in pain. Beal sprained his ankle and Wall mashed his left wrist into the court when trying to stabilize his falling body.

John Wall cuts down turnovers, Wizards excel

The Wizards continue to rage on the road. They have won eight of nine road playoff games under Randy Wittman and Sunday's Game 1 win may have been the biggest surprise -- at least when considering the first quarter.
