Josh Doctson’s fade route ‘a first-round catch’

The biggest play of the day Sunday was a deep sideline fade to Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson, who, in just his second season, has become intertwined with the word. It usually does not have a good connotation.

Kirk Cousins finds just enough time to boost Redskins to 17-14 win over Seahawks

Cousins completed a 31-yard pass to Brian Quick. A 38-yard completion to Josh Doctson up the sideline followed. Doctson crashed down at the 1-yard line, stunning the CenturyLink Field crowd, and flipping the game's outcome. Rob Kelley ran it in from inside 1-yard line. Washington (4-4) left Seattle with a 17-14 win.
