Mayor Levar Stoney wants Washington back in Richmond. Washington isn’t as committal.

After an initial eight-year contract expired in 2020, Washington and the City of Richmond agreed to a one-year deal that put the Burgundy and Gold back in town for five days (Tuesday through Saturday) of training camp. But now as the team's trip winds down, Stoney said Thursday he's "bullish" that Washington will continue to hold its summer practices in the city and would work to make that happen.

As Rivera worries about maturity, keeping Allen, Thomas will help

As Washington concluded its first training camp practice Wednesday, Rivera admitted to having concerns about his team's "maturity" this season. Would they be able to handle the success from last season's trip to the playoffs and continue to grow? Well, keeping Allen (four years, $72 million) and Thomas should help ease Rivera's concerns.

Injured Samuel begins training camp on sidelines
