Capitals stick to their superstitions, from hot laps to playoff beards

Hockey players are up there with baseball players as some of the most superstitious athletes. As the Washington Capitals lead the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1, sitting one win away from their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, don't expect them to discard any team or individual superstitions even one day too early.

Capitals dominating in stat that shows they’re all-in

For all the categories the Washington Capitals led in their 3-1 Game 3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday, their advantage in blocked shots -- 26 to 9 -- might be singularly illustrative of the Capitals' all-in playoff mentality.
