Washington D.C. bars see World Cup boom despite U.S.’s absence

The United States failed to qualify for this World Cup, but in a multicultural city like Washington D.C., soccer fans are still soaking in the tournament en masse. Capitals reflect on their families ahead of Father’s Day

It's fitting that the first holiday on the calendar after the Washington Capitals' Stanley Cup victory is Father's Day. Many Capitals players have young families, and Alex Ovechkin will become the newest father on the team later this year.
