Convention-season political trinkets get the nod

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled a pair of limited-edition bobbleheads featuring the familiar Republican elephant and the Democratic donkey. The pair commemorate the 2024 Republican and Democratic conventions, which are being held in Milwaukee and Chicago, respectively.

CIA honors its fallen at annual Memorial Wall ceremony

The Central Intelligence Agency conducted an annual solemn ceremony to remember, honor, and celebrate courageous CIA officers who died serving their country. The ceremony took place Friday in front of the agency's marble Memorial Wall, which has commemorated fallen officers since its dedication nearly 50 years ago in July 1974.

Burgum becomes factor as possible Trump running-mate pick

Current media coverage suggests that former president Donald Trump may be eyeing a certain North Dakota resident as his vice presidential running mate. That would be Gov. Citizenship question aims to thwart Biden bid to alter electorate

Bill would protect hunters, anglers from Biden regulatory overreach

H.R. 615, otherwise known as the Protecting Access for Hunters and Anglers Act of 2023, introduced by Rep. Rob Wittman, Virginia Republican, says it "stops the Biden administration's Department of the Interior and Department of Agriculture from banning lead ammunition or tackle on federal lands and waters for hunting and fishing, unless the regulation is consistent with state laws and supported by science."

Biden campaign believes Haley fans open to its overtures

Is this a cautionary tale for Republicans? Those working for President Biden's reelection campaign believe that Republican voters who once supported Nikki Haley's bid for the White House are not necessarily transferring their loyalty to Donald Trump.
