Congress faced pressure Friday to take steps to ensure protesters are protected during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's upcoming visit to Washington, D.C., more than two years since members of his security detail were criminally charged with assaulting several peaceful demonstrators opposed to his policies.
