ADVANCE FOR USE SATURDAY, JAN. 18 - In this photo taken on Dec. 30, 2013, a concrete arrow, built in the 1920s as part of a cross-country program to help U.S. Airmail pilots to navigate routes, can be seen off the Steamboat Ditch trail in Reno, Nev., above the "hole-in-the-wall" tunnel. Each arrow was accompanied by a transmission beacon and tower, most of which were scrapped for the metal during World War II. The arrows stretched across the country from New York to San Francisco. This view is looking east towards Reno with Interstate 80 on the left. (AP Photo/The Reno Gazette-Journal, Tim Dunn) NO SALES; NEVADA APPEAL OUT; SOUTH RENO WEEKLY OUT
