Rafael Soriano temporarily removed from role as Nationals’ closer

Manager Matt Williams says Soriano will take a few days off and throw a bullpen session to correct the mechanical problems with his slider. Drew Storen, Tyler Clippard or Matt Thornton will pitch the ninth inning in the meantime, depending on matchups.
