Andre Roberts embraces returns as way to be in middle of action

Though Roberts was first brought to Washington as a candidate to start at wide receiver, he has always welcomed opportunities as a returner. He returned punts during his time at The Citadel and as a rookie in Arizona, where he spent the first four seasons of his NFL career.

Nationals still can’t sweep Braves, but remain in good shape

Despite the loss, the Nationals put themselves in position to clinch the division this week by taking the first two games of the series. Their magic number is 10, making Miami and Atlanta the most likely sites of a clinching celebration next week.
