For conservatives, Trump sends worrying signals on court picks

Trump asks courts to delay tariff ruling

Government lawyers have asked courts to hold off on enforcing a ruling that found his "liberation day" tariffs were illegal, saying it has disarmed President Trump's negotiating power as he tried to strike deals with foreign trading partners.

Justice Dept. sues to clean North Carolina’s voting rolls

The Trump Justice Department announced a lawsuit Tuesday against North Carolina, challenging the state to clean up its voter rolls and remove names of people who didn't provide all the information required to register to vote.
