Barry Manilow has canceled his Saturday show at his Las Vegas residency, days after returning Thursday from a weekslong break. His representative blamed bronchitis.

A representative told Variety that after a “triumphant welcome-back concert,” Mr. Manilow, 83, came down with bronchitis and had to cancel his Friday and Saturday shows. Friday’s performance was cut short, according to Variety and Vital Vegas, which reported that Manilow left the stage after two songs. Saturday’s show was canceled outright.

Mr. Manilow had announced the break in late August after a summer tour of 29 performances in 68 days, saying “we were pushing a little too hard.” He had canceled two Westgate shows that month, citing “technical and vocal problems,” after technical issues halted an Aug. 20 performance. He said his break was not tied to a new medical complication, TicketNews reported.

Mr. Manilow announced in December 2025 that he would postpone January concerts to undergo surgery for Stage 1 lung cancer. Additional performances were delayed in February as he recovered, and in May he said he was “not quite ready for Vegas.” He returned to the Westgate stage July 9-11 for three sold-out shows.

Westgate has listed Mr. Manilow for Oct. 15-17 at the theater. Variety’s report did not say whether those dates are affected.
