White House working on ‘drawdown’ plan for ICE in Minnesota

White House border czar Tom Homan said Thursday he is working on a "drawdown" plan to bring some federal agents and officers out of Minnesota, hoping to calm soaring tensions over the massive federal presence and the protests against it.

Minnesota asks judge to order ICE out of the state

Minnesota asked a federal judge Monday to issue an immediate order shutting down President Trump's immigration surge and booting thousands of federal officers out of the state, saying the latest shooting death of an American citizen requires the courts to rein in the White House.

HUD orders citizenship checks for those in public housing

The Department of Housing and Urban Development ordered an immediate review of the citizenship status of those receiving public housing assistance, saying Friday that an initial review spotted nearly 6,000 ineligible people, and nearly 200,000 more who needed more verification.
