Chase Young trying to be ‘smart’ with hip flexor injury

Due to the missed time, Young remains mostly with the backups. Despite his draft status, Washington wants Young to earn his spot -- thus far giving Ryan Kerrigan and Montez Sweat the starting reps. Wizards to pick ninth in NBA draft

Ron Rivera diagnosed with lymph node cancer

Washington coach Ron Rivera shared the news with his team Thursday evening that he has been diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a form of skin cancer.
