Dominion Energy looks to offshore wind to power Virginia’s future

Twenty-seven miles off the coast of Virginia, Dominion Energy is preparing for the future of electricity generation. The project dovetails with President Biden's pledge to lower greenhouse gas emissions by more than 50% by 2030. To meet the goal, the White House is specifically targeting utility companies, while also proposing to spend $3 billion on offshore wind.
