Senate passes bill to make Daylight Saving Time permanent

The measure, written by Democratic Sen. Edward Markey of Massachusetts and Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, passed the chamber unanimously. If passed and signed by President Biden, the bill would end the twice-a-year ritual of changing clocks that most Americans undertake in spring and fall.
