AFT teacher’s union splits with Wells Fargo to punish bank for NRA ties

The American Federation of Teachers, an organization that popular thought would have in existence to press for teachers' rights in the classroom, has gone full blown political to tell Wells Fargo, in essence: Quit banking with the National Rifle Association. And since Wells Fargo won't, the AFT announced it's going to stop doing business with Wells Fargo.

Faith leaders skew Bible to oppose SNAP reform

Barack Obama fake news video highlights dangers of AI

Fake news, meet artificial intelligence. A video created by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele and released by BuzzFeed appears to show Barack Obama referencing the movie "Black Panther," remarking on HUD Secretary Ben Carson and calling President Donald Trump a "total and complete dips--." But it was all fake. And get ready for the floodgates to open on more AI-assisted fake videos and audio.

James Comey ought to be prosecuted, say 46 percent

James B. Comey, former FBI director, is facing fire from the people, apparently, for his brazen attacks on President Donald Trump, for his outspoken criticisms of White House ways of doing business and -- for leaking to the media. Rasmussen Reports found in a recent survey 46 percent of those polled think Comey ought to be prosecuted for leaking to the press.

Barbara Bush — even the left respected and grieves her

Barbara Bush, the "silver fox" of modern-day politics -- so-dubbed for her snowy white hair and cut-to-the-chase manner of speaking -- has died, leaving a legacy that will be talk of the town for the next few days. Even the left is grieving her passing. And in this day and time of vicious politicking -- that ain't small potatoes.

Thomas Jefferson statue smearing as ‘Racist + Rapist’ despicable and revisionist

James Comey tell-all strikes as revengeful rip of Donald Trump

Newt Gingrich goes there — compares FBI’s raid of Michael Cohen to Nazis

Mark Zuckerberg’s misguided turn toward AI to define ‘hate speech’

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told members of Congress -- as well as a rapt TV audience -- that "hate speech" is tough to define, but within a few years, he expects artificial intelligence to assume a greater role in sifting the nuances of social media content on the company's pages and begin red-flagging and booting posts deemed hateful and hate-filled.
