Donald Trump budget: Meals on Wheels defunding misperception shows bias

The liberal fainting couch continues to get a workout. Since President Trump announced his budget last week, the poor liberal base has been pummeled with hysterical headlines announcing Mr. Trump's desire to destroy the Meals on Wheels program. Once he's done with that, he'll murder Big Bird. And then after that, the evil and depraved genius has figured out how to completely eradicate all the "arts" in America.

Democrats deploy aggression toward Donald Trump’s allies

Watching White House press secretary Sean Spicer get verbally attacked at an Apple store by an unhinged activist was bizarre, but not entirely surprising as the left continues its meltdown over being rejected by the American people.

Criminal illegal aliens must be dealt with

In November 2016, President-elect Donald Trump said this to CBS' "60 Minutes": "What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably 2 million, it could be even 3 million, we are getting them out of our country, or we are going to incarcerate." Everyone, especially liberals and feminists, should be grateful he's acting on that promise.

Liberal establishment is failing

I didn't watch the Academy Awards, but I sure enjoyed them -- via Twitter. The collection of world-famous and super-rich liberals and leftists had one job, and they failed. The spectacular screwup of announcing the wrong winner for Best Picture wasn't even the issue, or about one person making a mistake. Mistakes are made all the time.

Donald Trump parallels with Ronald Reagan should be explored

The media laugh at any attempt to compare President Trump with former President Ronald Reagan, but there are many similarities, not the least of which are the withering attacks both men endured while running for and as president.

Liberal whining by Hollywood celebrities reveals anti-woman bias

During the election and after the inauguration of President Trump we've been swamped with vile, sanctimonious lectures from the smug smart set, a privileged class of superrich celebrities, actors, television comedians and music performers.

In this undated photo provided by the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, a flock of European starlings litter a feedlot in Fallon, Nev. Land owners surprised to discover tens of thousands of dead birds across the high desert are criticizing the federal government over a mass killing of starlings in northern Nevada. An Agriculture Department spokesman said a pesticide was used to destroy the birds to prevent the spread of disease to dairy cows. Some area residents, however, say the government should have done more to alert the public and to dispose of the dead birds. (AP Photo/USDA APHIS, Jack Spencer) ** FILE **

The USDA has failed conservatives

After decades of transparency, why did the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) suddenly delete its database of animal welfare violations? This is raising red flags for liberals, but it is a nonpartisan issue and should be of special concern for conservatives for a variety of reasons.

How Donald Trump strengthens national security

You think you may know what the big news has been for the past few days, and in part, you'd be right. President Trump signed an executive order strengthening our national security by establishing a limited moratorium on travel to the United States from seven failed and/or state sponsors of terrorism.

The Women’s March widened the political divide in the U.S.

After everything that has happened in the last year, the Democrats still have learned nothing. Their answer to the election of Donald Trump? A Women's March that does nothing to save a deluded party still cannibalizing itself.

Defending national security, when convenient

A main refrain from Democrats these days (and the scraggly band of Never Trumpers, apparently now led by Sen. John McCain) remains how the Russians "hacked the election." Observers understand this is meant to delegitimize the election of Donald Trump, but what it also exposes is the rank hypocrisy of crusty and desperate political operatives and federal bureaucrats.

California law decriminalizing child prostitution puts children at greater risk

At the start of each new year we're subjected to a whole host of new laws. The modern liberal government, you see, imagines itself not as the champion of individual freedom but as Mommy and Daddy, a taskmaster charged with controlling your life. Most of the time, it makes everything, including our lives, worse.

Remember the Christian bakers

A funny thing happened on the way to the Donald Trump inauguration -- liberals suddenly became champions of people being allowed to decline participating in something if it violated their conscience.

The Democrats’ flawed ‘hope’ agenda

Michelle Obama, in her final interview at first lady, spoke to Oprah Winfrey for an hour, and the headlines make quite clear what her message is: After eight years of her husband's "hope" agenda, hope is now suddenly gone.

Legacy media fakery

"Fake news." Funny, isn't it: After all these years and only after Hillary Clinton loses the presidential election to Donald Trump do we hear about the ominous scourge of the newly dubbed "fake news."

The end of liberal bullying over gay marriage

An important paradigm shift seems to be happening. Case in point: Typical gay liberals decide to publicly bully Christians because of their faith. Bullies then expect all hell to break loose, with targeted Christians being frightened into either disavowing aspects of their faith or, more likely, their business or livelihood being destroyed after a campaign of public hate and derision.

The left shows sympathy for Fidel Castro

There appears to be an awful lot of sympathy for the devil out there these days. The death of Fidel Castro, a mass murderer masquerading as a "president," exposed the bizarre romance liberals have with tyrants.

‘Hamilton’ cast airing grievances to Mike Pence was rude, wrongheaded

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday originally celebrating a good harvest, and then when a first national Thanksgiving was declared in 1789, Gen. George Washington proclaimed it "as a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favours of Almighty God."

Election starts reclamation of nation

There have been enough twists and turns during these last two weeks before the general election to give Space Mountain at Disneyland a run for its money. A roller coaster ride is fabulous, but one of the main reasons you can let go and enjoy it is because you know how it's going to end.
