Hollywood, faux feminists reject Trump agenda and curl up

Americans got a tax cut. The economy is booming. Hispanic and African-American unemployment rates are at historic lows. The ISIS "caliphate" is destroyed. In the United States, MS-13 gang members are now afraid for their future, while American citizens finally have a sense their future is back. All of this was enough to throw actress Alyssa Milano into the fetal position.

United Nations problems bigger than inefficiency, overspending

There was a gift you may have missed. On Christmas Eve, Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, announced a sizeable cut for the U.N. operating budget to the tune of $285 million dollars. That sounds like a lot, and it's a good start, but that's all it is. Ambassador Haley called the cut "a step in the right direction," and implied there would be more to come.

College students’ tyrannical behavior must be stopped

How many conversations have we had with our friends, family and co-workers wondering what happened to the millennials? We expect a new generation to have new ideas and new ways of approaching the world. So how do we explain when a new generation is steeped in bullying, complaining about hurt feelings, demanding "safe spaces," and using pride in fragile egos and weakened emotional states as the excuse to condemn free speech?

More gun safety regulations won’t help when bureaucrats are unaccountable

We know the Nov. 5 Texas church shooting massacre should never have happened. Because we can never expect a moral position from a monster who would do that, as a nation we have regulations and laws in place that should have prevented the previously convicted domestic batterer from buying his firearms.

The New York Times’ Nazi story goes off the rails

The arrogance of the legacy media doesn't begin and end with biased coverage of existing events; it also involves stories meant to convince Americans of something about themselves and their neighbors which is ugly and untrue.

Liberals must face the sexual predators within their ranks

Charlie Rose, formerly of PBS and CBS. Glenn Thrush of The New York Times. The collapse of the liberal establishment Masters of the Universe continues. Yet for some reason, the Democratic and liberal establishment think now is the time to condemn ... Bill Clinton.

Texas shooting massacre led many to pray — and to be mocked by liberals

We learn a lot about ourselves and others in the midst of a crisis. Hollywood and liberals had no problem revealing themselves for what they are (again) in the aftermath of the horror of the Texas church massacre. Liberals, these worshippers of failed big government, decided to condemn people of faith by mocking those who prayed on a day when 26 Christians were murdered.

Kevin Spacey, Harvey Weinstein show Hollywood morals absent

The Hollywood/Media volcano is still spewing out its garbage. First, movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, then newsman wunderkind Mark Halperin, and now the thespian's thespian Kevin Spacey face a spotlight even they don't like. Three men from industries that control our culture, bullies and lecturers all, allegedly grabbing and groping whatever vulnerable woman, man or child might have the bad luck of catching their eye.

Gun control won’t end mass murder

As the nation continues to reel from the nation's worst mass shooting in modern history, politicians and other opportunists find the massacre too inviting not to exploit. The knee-jerk cravenness of liberals to scrape up their calls for gun-control while demonizing the National Rifle Association (NRA) immediately sucks all the air out of the room, eliminating any discussion or investigation of other foundational forces driving mass violence.

Media continues to bash Donald Trump

The left works overtime to control everyone's sense of reality. They have lost the hearts and minds of Americans so all they can do now is arrange various public Kabuki dramas insisting that America (and Americans by default) are no good and not worth standing for.

Democratic leaders change their tune on Trump

In the last week, there have been reports of several pigs flying by various windows in every city. Pigs only fly when there's been a unique occurrence, and we certainly have had a few.

Houston’s heroes remind us to reject the left’s bullies

America is reeling from the onslaught of Hurricane (now tropical storm) Harvey. In the midst of the suffering from the unparalleled flooding, we have seen remarkable examples of heroism and community coming to the aid of those in peril.

Donald Trump must save the Republicans — and Congress — from themselves

Isn't it time the president stage an intervention to save Congress from itself? As leader of the Republican Party, the president has every right, even a duty, to intervene when it becomes clear his own party leadership is not only obstructing the will of the people, but is doing damage to the country.
