Libertarian National Committee chair denounces Syria airstrikes

The head of the Libertarian National Committee on Friday condemned the Trump administration's missile strike in Syria, saying history shows that time and again the United States has failed when it tries to be the world's policeman and that it is "uncertain" who carried out the chemical attack that spurred the president to retaliate.

Devin Nunes steps aside from Russia investigation

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee announced Thursday that he is stepping aside from the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election until he can clear himself of "baseless" ethics complaints filed against him by "left-wing activist groups."
