Commanders defense puts preseason focus on performance, not hype

Two years ago, a star-studded Washington Commanders' defense strutted into the 2021 season with talk of breaking records. The unit was seen as one of the best in the league -- and management had just added the top cornerback on the market to the mix. What followed was a humbling experience.

Brian Robinson: ‘Night and day’ difference a year after shooting

Before practices during this year's training camp, the 23-year-old has taken time to greet and high-five fans who were in attendance. And on Saturday, when 10,000 were on hand, the running back stayed at least 45 minutes after the session concluded to sign autographs.

Commanders’ Daron Payne, happy with his contract, setting new goals

Daron Payne's agent went through a few scenarios for his client as the defensive tackle sought a new contract from the Washington Commanders. Payne could look to take a deal early if there was one on the table to his satisfaction. Or the 26-year-old could attempt to wait in hopes that the offer would increase while the defensive tackle market around him exploded.
