Giants expect Eli Manning back in 2019

INDIANAPOLIS -- New York Giants coach Pat Shurmur said he "fully" expects quarterback Eli Manning to return in 2019. The Giants have the sixth pick in the draft and there's been heavy speculation they will take a quarterback with that pick.

Dwight Howard participates in ‘light shooting,’ actual return unclear

Bryce Harper reportedly turns down ‘multiple’ offers north of $300 million

MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported Harper is believed to have turned down "multiple" offers worth more than $300 million over the last few weeks. Five teams -- the Philadelphia Phillies, San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres and the Washington Nationals -- are still believed to be in contact with the six-time All-Star free agent, Heyman reported.

Manny Machado to sign with San Diego Padres

Machado agreed to sign a 10-year, $300 million deal with the San Diego Padres on Tuesday, according to multiple reports. The deal ends a months-long free agency for the former Baltimore Orioles infielder.
