Jennifer King to be added as first female assistant coach in Redskins’ history

Wizards’ trades take backseat to busy NBA trade deadline

The Wizards sent veteran point guard Isaiah Thomas and the draft rights to Issuf Sanon to the Los Angeles Clippers for guard Jerome Robinson, in a three-team trade with the New York Knicks, and traded forward Jordan McRae to the Denver Nuggets for point guard Shabazz Napier, a source said.

Davis Bertans selected to All-Star 3-point contest

Wizards forward Davis Bertans will be a participant in the league's 3-point contest later this month, the NBA announced Tuesday. The event will take place Feb. 15 at the United Center in Chicago, where Bertans will join seven other players.

Wizards’ defense on pace to be historically bad

Monday's loss against the league-worst Golden State Warriors for the Washington Wizards unfolded in a different manner than the typical defeat. It was one of the rare instances this season that Washington didn't play with effort consistently, coach Scott Brooks said.
