George Gerbo hosts the Front Page Podcast, District of Sports Podcast, covers University of Maryland football and men’s basketball, and is the media coordinator for The Washington Times. A West Virginia native, he is a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University and a 2017 graduate of the University of Maryland, both in broadcast journalism. Before coming to the Times in 2019, George spent seven years working in a variety of capacities on Capitol Hill and with the U.S. House of Representatives. Maryland forced to correct mistakes quickly as rival Virginia looms

An all too predictable home letdown in a conference game it was favored to win happened again to Maryland against Michigan State. Now, the Terrapins are left to pick up the pieces during a rivalry week as they face Virginia for the 80th time in program history.
