George Gerbo hosts the Front Page Podcast, District of Sports Podcast, covers University of Maryland football and men’s basketball, and is the media coordinator for The Washington Times. A West Virginia native, he is a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University and a 2017 graduate of the University of Maryland, both in broadcast journalism. Before coming to the Times in 2019, George spent seven years working in a variety of capacities on Capitol Hill and with the U.S. House of Representatives. Maryland loses receiver Demus for rest of season

Maryland will be without standout senior wide receiver Dontay Demus Jr. for the remainder of the season after he injured his right knee in a 51-14 loss to Iowa. The news comes as Maryland prepares to visit No. 7 Ohio State -- its second top-10 opponent in as many weeks.
