Donald Trump entering Caution Zone by taking oath for Robert Mueller

President Donald Trump sent a bit of a shockwave through the media on his way to Davos, Switzerland, when he told reporters gathered at the White House that yes, he was willing to speak with special counsel Robert Mueller, under oath, no less. This is a 50-50 scenario for the president, at best. In the hands of the media, the spin from this interview would be anti-Trump news fodder for weeks.

Many in America already celebrate Native American Heritage Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving. FBI’s missing messages wouldn’t fly for Joe Q. Citizen

The FBI is saying "misconfiguration issues" tied to software updates brought about the loss of five months' worth of text messages between a pair of anti-President Donald Trumpers. Can you imagine if the average Joe Q. Citizen tried the same line of excuse with, say, the Internal Revenue Service and a request for tax records for an audit?

Chuck Schumer stokes DACA fires with attacks on Donald Trump, tea party

Sen. Chuck Schumer took to MSNBC and told hostess Rachel Maddow that the tea party, the precursor to President Donald Trump, has always been anti-immigration. This, of course, is a blatant lie. And it does nothing to advance the supposed diplomatic approach Republicans and Democrats are committed to achieving on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

Democrats’ DACA blink long overdue lesson in humility

FBI’s curious loss of 5 months’ messaging of Peter Strzok, Lisa Page

The FBI has lost about five months' worth of text messages that were exchanged between two staff members who share a common denominator: They are tied to the Russia collusion investigation of President Donald Trump -- and they're rabidly anti-Trump. Oh, and one more tie: They were having an affair. This doesn't look bad or biased at all, now does it? (Insert sarcasm here).

Carl Higbie resignation a golden egg for anti-Donald Trump media

Carl Higbie, the chief of external affairs for the Corporation for National and Community Service, just resigned after CNN found evidence of offensive remarks he had made in the past. Never heard of Higbie? Doesn't matter. CNN found an audio of him in June 2013 saying this: "I just don't like Muslim people. Well people are like, 'well, you can't hate somebody just for being Muslim.' It's like, yeah, I can." Suddenly, in the eyes of the media, he's been one of Donald Trump's best friends for years.

Mahmoud Abbas, man of peace, to Donald Trump: ‘May your house be destroyed’

Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the Palestinian Authority, the guy who's frequently touted by both left- and right-leaning politicos as a moderate who wants nothing but peace with Israel, went on an shocking rant against the Jewish state and the United States in recent public remarks, ultimately unleashing a curse on President Donald Trump that went like this: "May your house be destroyed." Either Abbas has gone rogue or he's showing his true anti-West colors. The smart money's on Option B.

Justice Department, Jeff Sessions petition Supreme Court to end DACA

The Department of Justice is petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a federal judge's ruling on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a rare intervention that could finally hand the White House a win on the Barack Obama-implemented program. Good. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is right to wage a fight on this. The idea that a former president's executively issued command that wrongfully skirted Congress is now hard and fast U.S. law is a bit much to stomach.
