Eddie Braun, stuntman, plans to attempt Evel Knievel’s failed Snake River Canyon jump

Late stuntman Evel Knievel suffered little more than a broken nose after he unsuccessfully attempted to cross Idaho's Snake River Canyon in a steam-powered rocket in 1974. Now one of the daredevil's biggest fans said he'll recreate the failed stunt more than four decades later, hopefully landing this time on the other side of the abyss.

Starbucks to begin porn-blocking on its free Wi-Fi

Starbucks said Friday that the coffee chain's complimentary Wi-Fi will soon block X-rated websites, heeding the call of anti-porn activists who recently found similar success after urging McDonald's to do the same.
