Rested Mystics host Sparks with return to WNBA semifinals on the line

The Washington Mystics, who rested up with a first-round bye, will play the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday with a trip to the semifinals on the line. The game, televised on ESPN2, tips off at 6:30 p.m. at the Charles E. Smith Center on George Washington University's campus.

Richie Incognito charged with making threats at funeral home

Former NFL offensive guard Richie Incognito, perhaps best known for his role in a bullying scandal within the Miami Dolphins organization, was arrested Monday on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and making threats at a funeral home.

United top Revolution to extend unbeaten streak

United won a 2-0 decision over New England Revolution Sunday night that pushed the club further up the MLS Eastern Conference standings. United (7-9-6) have not lost since July 25, going 4-0-1 in that time.
