Bubba Wallace ‘relieved’ over FBI findings

Bubba Wallace said it had been "an emotional few days" for him after NASCAR found what officials thought was a noose in his stall at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, until the FBI determined the rope had been hanging in that garage for almost a year.

Nationals have sixth-best odds to win 2020 World Series

While the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers were predictable co-favorites at 7-2, the Washington Nationals' odds were set at a rather distant 18-1 -- tied for just sixth-best with the Tampa Bay Rays, and surprising for a defending champion that only lost one key player.

MLB players will report to camp July 1

For the Washington Nationals, that means commencing workouts at Nationals Park in the District next week to prep for a July 24 opening day.

Natasha Cloud, LaToya Sanders opt out of 2020 WNBA season

Mystics guard Natasha Cloud and center LaToya Sanders will not play the 2020 WNBA season, the team announced Monday. Cloud said in a statement that she wants to focus on her activism in the Black Lives Matter movement, while Sanders cited her health as her primary reason to sit out the season.

Jackson Rutledge talks minor league baseball on pause and working out in basement

Phillies, Lightning, PGA Tour all announce cases of coronavirus

The Philadelphia Phillies shut down their spring training facility in Clearwater, Florida, after five players and three staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
