China devalues yuan for third straight day

China has set the guiding rate for its currency, the yuan, lower for the third consecutive day, albeit by a smaller amount than it had the previous two days. Nevertheless, the move is likely to trigger further fears of a currency war as nations, especially Beijing's Asian neighbors, fear their goods cannot compete with now-cheaper Chinese exports.
