You can tell which fans at Washington Redskins training camp are seeing Robert Griffin III for the first time because they let out little "oohs" and "aahs" when the rookie quarterback escapes the pocket with his elite speed. Kory Lichtensteiger may miss preseason after knee surgery

Redskins offensive line hopes camaraderie trumps adversity

Trent Williams and Maurice Hurt were the last two Washington Redskins off the indoor practice field Saturday afternoon. While most of their teammates headed to lunch, and a few stragglers spoke to reporters, Williams tutored Hurt about squaring his shoulders to pass-rushing defenders and absorbing contact in the chest.

Hope took the practice field for the Washington Redskins on Thursday afternoon wearing a gold No. 10 jersey. RG3 signs four-year, $21 million deal with Redskins

Tiger storms to victory in AT&T National

Tiger Woods is Tiger Woods because he can do things with a golf ball that few others can. So the gallery, which returned to Congressional Country Club in full force Sunday, buzzed when his ball came to rest at the base of a tree left of the 12th fairway during the fourth round of the AT&T National.

Chris Couch one of many to feel effects of blistering temperatures at Congressional

Golfer Chris Couch drank 25 bottles of water and three bottles of Gatorade on Friday at the second round of the AT&T National, and that still wasn't enough to save him from the intense heat. Couch sought medical attention on the 15th hole for heat-related symptoms. He finished his round all right but marveled afterward at the weather conditions at Bethesda's Congressional Country Club.

Woods has better second day at AT&T National, but still five shots back

If Tiger Woods goes on to win the AT&T National this weekend, a possibility after his 3-under par 68 in Friday's second round, he could consider a three-hole stretch Friday morning the difference between his second victory at this tournament and his defeat at the hands of Congressional Country Club's venomous Blue Course.

Bo Van Pelt leads after first day at AT&T National

Bo Van Pelt's only victory in 309 PGA Tour events was almost three years ago on the same weekend as the 138th Open Championship. His moment of glory did not occur at Turnberry in Scotland, though. And, as a matter of fact, he still is the defending champion of the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee. The tournament shut down operation after he won it.
