Bruce Allen, Dan Snyder go after each other in depositions

Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen were once so close that the longtime executive often could be seen by the Washington Commanders owner's side before and after every game. But Thursday's report from the House Oversight and Reform Committee served as the latest reminder of the rift between the two men.

Gervonta Davis’ return to the District also comes with a risk

Over the course of Monday's press conference, Gervonta Davis made a point to keep his focus on Hector Luis Garcia -- not Ryan Garcia. But first up for Davis is a Jan. 7 showdown with Hector Luis Garcia, who's far from an average tuneup.

Heinicke, Heinicke, Commanders settle for tie against Giants

The Commanders and the New York Giants settled for a 20-20 tie on Sunday at MetLife Stadium after Giants kicker Graham Gano missed a 58-yarder as time expired. Brian Robinson’s big day — and hat — could be sign of bigger things to come after beating Falcons

To win their third straight game, to improve to 7-5 after a 1-4 start, the Commanders had to hold on until the very end. Cornerback Kendall Fuller grabbed an interception in the end zone with less than a minute left, killing an Atlanta drive that had gotten all the way to the 4-yard line. Defensive tackle Daron Payne helped create the crucial turnover by tipping Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota's pass, which landed right in Fuller's arms.
