Wal-Mart to shed 7,000 desk jobs at company stores: report

Wal-Mart will be eliminating about 7,000 in-store desk jobs in "the next several months," the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. The company hopes to transition most of them to other jobs in the chain's stores, interacting with customers, not paperwork.

She appeared in Playboy numerous times and was the last-ever centerfold to go fully nude, but now Pamela Anderson argues in a new op-ed that, well, "porn is for losers." Even so, Ms. Anderson's website is still selling, for $500 a copy, signed and personalized editions of the Playboy magazine which carried her last naked centerfold.

Blurred Lines: 200 musicians seek reversal of infringement verdict

A diverse array of musicians from genres ranging from rock to classical to hip hop are joining forces in federal court, hoping to overturn what they see as a dangerous precedent which blurs the lines of federal copyright law and threatens their livelihood.

With just one week to what is widely expected to be the launch of the anticipated iPhone 7, a French website claims to have documentation showing the new smartphone will accommodate up to 256 gigabytes of memory and will, as has been widely rumored, ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Taylor Swift dismissed from jury duty by Tennessee judge: report

Taylor Swift did her civic duty on Monday, showing up at a Tennessee courthouse for jury duty. She was not seated on a panel, however, after a judge dismissed her, concerned she may be not be able to be impartial in a rape case, according to reports.
