OSS Society revisits, honors Operation Overlord

The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) Society -- a nonprofit organization that preserves the legacy of the World War II predecessor to the CIA, the U.S. Special Operations Command, and the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) -- presented a replica of the OSS Congressional Gold Medal to NATO Special Operations Headquarters (NSHQ) in Mons, Belgium, on May 6.

Hey GOP: Cheap gas wins votes

So the average price of gas is $5.92 per gallon in Sonoma, California, as of Monday according to GasBuddy.com, a nimble and helpful industry source. The Golden State, in fact, is home to the most expensive fuel in the nation, with gas going for an average of $5.80 a gallon. Georgia boasts the lowest price at $3.85. The trends are not promising.

Old Democratic Party has vanished as ‘leftists’ take charge

There's nothing homespun, reassuring or traditional about the Democratic Party any more, some say.
