The suit that Kate Steinle's parents brought against San Francisco, alleging the city was negligent for failing to keep in jail the illegal immigrant who shot their daughter was tossed from court, deemed by a three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to have little merit. Seattle-area church fights forced funding of abortions

Attorneys for the nonprofit Alliance Defending Freedom just filed a lawsuit on behalf of Cedar Park Assembly of God over a Washington state mandate passed a year ago, via Senate Bill 6219, requiring employers who provide maternity care in their group insurance plans to also cover elective abortions. Talk about bullying the believers.
