‘Squad?’ Squanderers is more like it

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar have managed to ball their socialist viewpoints into a cute and college-y sounding name, branding themselves the cute-sounding "squad." But at root, they're socialists -- and that makes them, automatically and by logical extension, squanderers.

Boston’s Christian flag problem

Boston is being sued over barring a group, Camp Constitution, from flying its Christian flag as part of the city's recent Constitution Day celebrations. Think about that for a moment. Wasn't Boston at the forefront of Americans' fight for independence from Britain -- a fight that was based largely on the quest for religious freedom? For specifically, Christian religious freedom? My, how times have changed.

Religious ‘nones’ on the rise, bringing the rot of socialism

Between 2008 and 2018, the level of religious "nones" in the United States -- those absorbing to no particular belief in a higher power-- has risen from just more than 22% to nearly 30%. That explains much. Like what? Like how come socialists in America have come to political power, for one.

Ayanna Pressley’s childish anti-Trump ‘occupant’ stand

Rep. Ayanna Pressley said at a press conference this week that President Donald Trump, in her mind -- from her lips -- would always be considered an unauthorized, illegitimate "occupant" of the White House. She's not just thumbing her nose at Trump. She's thumbing her nose at the American people. And oh so childishly so.

Socialists are the enemy — and that’s not racist to say

Much ado has been made over President Donald Trump's recent tweets telling "'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen" -- that is to say, socialists -- to exit America, stage right. But the president's message is valid. Simply put: Socialists -- which is what Democrats have become -- don't belong in America's government.

Trump’s tweets hardly as ‘racist’ as Virginia’s governor

This is how the media works: President Donald Trump is being labeled an outright utter racist for telling progressive members of Congress to get out, go back where they belong -- back to the socialist-styled countries of corrupt governance they love to defend. But Virginia's governor, who apologized for a "racist and offensive" costume in his yearbook photo, is still happily governing. Double standard?

Democrats need to control their freshmen

At the risk of being called racist -- Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley ought to retire to their congressional corners, crack open a copy of the Constitution and spend some quiet time reading. Maybe then they'd learn how the public servant class is supposed to operate in this country.

Product lickers symptom of sick, selfie-obsessed nation

If there were no such thing as selfies, there probably wouldn't be as many of these sick product lickers out there. If social media weren't so targeted toward the lowest common denominator -- the low achievers who think 1,000 likes is akin to genuine accomplishment -- then product licking wouldn't be a thing.

ICE raids ‘absolutely going to happen’

Whether the raids actually take place or not, at this point, doesn't even matter. Illegals have been set on notice. They've been sent the message. Reid Weingarten, the lead attorney for Jeffrey Epstein, created a stir during his client's arraignment hearing by seemingly shrugging off the fact that some victims, simply because of their young ages, were regarded, in the eyes of the law, as raped. Taxing whites moves mainstream
