Associated Press sues FBI for role in spyware scheme

The Associated Press has sued the FBI for failing to deliver documents regarding a 2007 case in which the agency used the AP's name to trick a suspect into installing spyware delivered through a bogus news article.

Russia bans, then un-bans Wikipedia over drug article

Russian censors this week briefly ordered Internet Service Providers to restrict access to Wikipedia due to an entry on charas, a type of cannabis. The online encyclopedia was officially added to the Kremlin's blacklist on Monday and was removed within hours.

Russia threatens to add Wikipedia to blacklist over narcotics article

The Kremlin says it will ban Wikipedia within Russia unless the website blocks access to an article about drugs. The warning from Roskomnadzor, the government's online regulator, comes weeks after similar threats were made over content on Reddit and YouTube.
