COLD FOR A CAUSE: Incoming freshmen (from left) Natalya Stefanovich, Victoria Good, Caitlyn Spetzer, Crystal Cosgrove and Nicole Dunn at Mount Aloysius College in Pennsylvania take the ALS ice bucket challenge. Even politicians and celebrities are getting in on the act with everyone from former President George W. Bush, actress Lindsay Lohan and former presidential candidate Mitt Romney all willingly getting doused with freezing water for the cause.

The challenge has caught on with notable figures participating in the campaign to raise money for the fight against ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease.
