The Food and Drug Administration is recalling a plant-based butter in 10 states due to yeast, mold and E. coli.

The FDA recalled Miyoko’s Creamery European Style Salted Plant Milk Butter on Sept. 11 and classified it as the second-highest risk level on Oct. 23.

A Class II recall means eating or exposure to the product may cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
