A public airing of information about the death last year of Tashii Brown, an unarmed 40-year-old man at the hands of the Las Vegas police officer, failed to satisfy the man's mother, who called the proceeding a cover-up of a criminal act. Trinita Farmer said Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, that her son, Brown, went to police for help but died after a foot chase, stun gun jolts, punches and a neck restraint. Medical examiners determined the chokehold killed Brown. But a grand jury found otherwise. (Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department via AP, File)
