Hurricane Nolo is an active tropical cyclone south of the Hawaiian Islands, currently threatening to impact the Big Island. The nineteenth named storm and ninth hurricane of the 2026 Pacific hurricane season, Nolo first formed as a tropical depression on September 13. Then designated Fifteen-E, it soon degenerated to a remnant low due to wind shear. After tracking into the Central Pacific, it regenerated into a tropical cyclone a week later and became a tropical storm on September 23, receiving the name Nolo. - Source: Wikipedia
