Maryland setting aside 2,300 COVID-19 vaccine doses for NIH workers

Maryland officials on Tuesday said the state is providing 2,300 doses from its initial allotment of the Moderna vaccine to health care workers at the National Institutes of Health as the federal agency kicked off its vaccination efforts against COVID-19.

Six hospitals in D.C. to receive first COVID-19 vaccines this week

Howard University Hospital and the George Washington University Hospital were the first in the District to receive the drugmaker Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine Monday, and Mayor Muriel Bowser said four other health care sites will get shipments this week.
