FBI targeted Trump associates with informants

The FBI informant assigned to spy on Trump associates came up empty, according to the Justice Department's inspector general report, which for first time discloses snippets of secretly recorded conversations.

FISA court raps FBI’s faulty affidavits for Trump wiretaps: ‘Serious misconduct’

In a rare order, the chief judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court condemned the FBI on Tuesday for misleading the court in its application to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, saying the sheer number of problems with the petition raises questions about other filings by the law enforcement agency.
