Redskins’ John Beck ready to let his arm do the talking

It has been 3 1/2 months since Mike Shanahan emerged from the Washington Redskins' draft war room and said of John Beck: "I think the world of him." That sentence was enough to shift the NFL hype machine into overdrive, and when that happens during a lockout, a few weeks seem like an eternity.
