Brutal odds for 0-2 NFL clubs, including Commanders and Texans

It's a perennial graphic on NFL broadcasts in mid-September. Just 11% of squads that start 0-2 have later qualified for the postseason since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. That spells trouble for the eight teams waiting on their first win.

Commanders add injury to insulting loss against Cowboys

The Commanders' hopes for a successful season appeared to roll off a cliff Sunday, as quarterback Jayden Daniels left the 37-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at halftime with a gruesome-looking injury to his left elbow.

Commanders place linebacker Magee on injured reserve

The injury bug hit the Washington Commanders in Week 1. The team sent linebacker Jordan Magee to injured reserve after he suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
