North Korea places 2 ICBMs in position to fire

Suspiciously timed to the Trump inauguration, the North Korean military has placed two intercontinental ballistic missiles into position north of the capital. The road-mobile missiles are ready to fire and look to be a new model. They have possibly been positioned to purposefully be picked up by U.S. intelligence.

While elites fiddle, Russia advances in East Europe

Not many Americans can locate Moldova, a tiny former Soviet republic with a mostly ethnic Romanian population bordered by Ukraine and Romania, on a map. Even fewer could tell you that Moldova was once part of Romania and won its independence with the fall of the Soviet Union, only to have Russia carve out a separatist ethnic Russian enclave called Transdniester, complete with Russian troops and recognized as independent only by the Kremlin.

China sails warships thru Taiwan Strait

The communist People's Republic of China -- rattled by Donald Trump's overtures to Taiwan, which China regards as a renegade province -- sailed a flotilla of warships through the Taiwan Strait, including its only Soviet-built aircraft carrier, Liaoning.

Israeli satellite confirms Russia providing Syria with advanced missiles

Pushing back when Russia tests its limits

The hermit regime of Kim Jong-un declared this week that the North Korean military will soon test an intercontinental ballistic missile that could threaten the United States and its allies anywhere in the world.

North Korea sets 2017 as nuclear development deadline

One of the most pressing situations for the incoming Trump administration will be the communist regime of Kim Jong-un in North Korea and its desire to obtain ballistic missile nuclear capability. For his part, the North Korean leader seems to believe it is now or never to develop the technology to threaten the West and its allies in the Pacific with atomic attack.
