NAACP pulls Don Sterling’s lifetime achievement award

The NAACP's Los Angeles chapter apparently has decided it won't be giving Clippers owner Don Sterling a lifetime achievement award in light of racist comments he allegedly made toward his girlfriend V. Stiviano.

Jimmy Carter: Don’t hurt Russian people with sanctions

Former President Jimmy Carter said Tuesday that the United States shouldn't impose harmful sanctions on Russia, as he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin "is not going to use military force" in eastern Ukraine.
