Those who once called President Obama the "deporter in chief" may want to rethink the title. Deportations, including removal of criminals, "continue to plummet under Obama," according to a new Federation for American Immigration Reform analysis that reports deportations of illegal immigrants are at the lowest levels since 2006 -- down 42 percent in the past three years alone.

Chaos! The GOP-bashing press gets stuck on a single word following McCarthy revelations

"Chaos." That was the operative term among journalists and news organizations who got in some serious Republican bashing following House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy's straightforward announcement that he would not seek the role of House Speaker. GOP voters prefer outsider candidates in the White House race: The penchant for a presidential hopeful with "new ideas and a different approach has surged -- with virtually all of the increase coming among Republican and Republican-leaning voters," notes a Pew Research Center poll. "Today, by more than two to one (65 percent to 29 percent), Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters say it is more important that a candidate have new ideas than experience and a proven record.
