Nationals have busy first day of spring training

The first day of spring training was a busy one for the Washington Nationals. The lockout, which ended Thursday, has caused teams to move quickly on signing free agents and getting their players ready for Opening Day on April 7.

Falcons’ Ridley suspended at least one year for gambling on NFL games

The star wide receiver will now also miss the entire 2022 season -- and potentially more -- due to an indefinite suspension handed down by the NFL on Monday. Ridley, 27, was suspended by the league through the 2022 season for placing bets on NFL games during a five-day period in November.
